Unbound Medicine® and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) expanded their partnership with the launch of a continuing medical education (CME) platform to help clinicians earn their required credits. Visitors to PCRM’s Nutrition Guide for Clinicians website and mobile app can now acquire expert nutrition knowledge to help prevent, manage, or even reverse chronic disease while earning CME on the latest research.
Physicians and physician assistants now have the opportunity to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ through the joint partnership with George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Physicians Committee. The relationship between the two organizations began in 2017 when PCRM was eager to modernize the content and distribution of their popular Nutrition Guide. Their aim was to make their guide more readily accessible to members by sharing it online and as a downloadable mobile app. Published using the Unbound Platform and authoring system uPub™, the Nutrition Guide is now accessed thousands of times daily on mobile devices and the web. With this latest platform enhancement, both current and new users have the ability to earn CME credits while gaining expert nutritional knowledge all in one centralized location.
